Apologies for the lack of blogging, I’ve been sunning myself in fab Spanish Sunshine, although I’m sad to have missed Ireland’s only week of sun!!

We stayed in an area called  los dolses just outside torrevieja, there were some lovely restaurants, Italian, German & homecooked BBQ’s.  Here’s a few pics from hols… Cannelloni, Seafood pizza, sad-looking lemon tree with one lemon & for dessert some knitted Strawberries my sister made me!!

I’m away on hols next week, but hoping to get down to Dunmore East on the Sunday to visit the Food Festival, I haven’t been before, however the location & views alone are well worth the trip.

The Festival surrounds the Farmers Market with over 40 stalls, with local restaurants & hotels offering events also. Other events over the weekend are Arts & Crafts, full children’s programme, under the family-friendly logo, with face-painting, street artists, an agricultural mobile farm, and musical entertainment.

Sounds like a family fun day out…

Enjoy Vick xx
